One of the things I really loved about the Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad manga was the intro pages. Most were inspired by real album art from bands that influence the characters in the story, although there are quite a bit of intro pages that feature stills from RHCP music videos. It was always fun finding out what each one was referencing if it wasn’t something I recognized immediately.
